"Coffee With Your Candidates" Review.... Posted on 2007-10-06 12:19:52 Last Saturday's "Coffee With Your Candidates" morning at Dove's Bayside Bistro was a standing-room-only success. Three of the four candidates for our Chatham-Kent Essex riding attended the two-hour debate; current Liberal MPP Pat Hoy did not show. The event was organized by the Rondeau Cottagers' Association to call attention to our lease extension campaign, as well as numerous other matters of interest to the South Kent community. All three candidates voiced strong support for a long-term lease extension, as well as increased co-operation between the MNR and the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. The event received extensive coverage from the local newsmedia.
